Hash on the weekend with...What a weekend. Saturday was again as usual work. I know you guys don't want to hear it, but what can I say, that's just how it is. In the evening we just managed to watch a movie and then go to bed.Sunday we then went on the hash. It was as already mentioned an hour drive from Port Harcourt in Ikot Abasi. (see map)  It was a really cool hash in some nice scenery. We also want to mention, that is was pretty muddy and we were stuck quite deep in the water and mud. Not so funny, but still an experience. There are just some Hashes which have some different terrain. The 'down down' was at a beach not far from our initial starting point. Beers as usual and this time even a BBQ. Then after all beer was gone and all food eaten we went back to our cars by boat. After everybody (about 100 people) was ready to go we started our engine and it sounded a bit different. More like a diesel then a petrol car. About 40 meters later we found out why. No Oil. After checking under the car we saw what has happened. We punctured the sump (Oelwanne) pretty bad. Luckily some guys stayed back and after some thinking we decided to go home with them and let Friday take care of the car. He was later on picked up from some guys of our office.=20 Now the car is sitting there in Ikot Abasi and we will see today what to do. Martin |
