Good-bye, Andrew :-(Hi folks,some of you might know that in 1995 i spent 4,5 months in Newark, Delaware, USA. most of that time i lived with 3 americans, one of them being Andrew St. John Mein. when i went back there for 2 weeks in 1996 i stayed at his house, too. well - last friday i accidentally found out that he was killed while riding home on his mountain bike in 1999. apparently it was a hit-and-run thing, but i don't really know any details. Andrew was a really cool guy - we got along very well indeed, and although i haven't spoken to him since, like, 1998 or so i kind of miss him a lot. Here's to you, Andrew, it was very nice knowing you. -a. |
