The London Marathon 2001

On Sunday, April 22nd, the London Marathon 2001 took place. Running amongst the 30.000 participants: my friend and colleague Jason Bacon!
So here we see Jason running (at Blackfriars Bridge)- he's the guy in green wearing a black Excite cap. The white shirt right behind him is his friend Andrew :-) .
Jason and Andrew on their way from the finishing line to the headquarters of MacMillan Cancer Research (the charity they ran for). They look pretty dead, huh?
On the second picture they have partially recovered...although I have no idea why Jason holds my helmet... ;-)
Now for some family pictures: Jason, his wife Tori and their daughters Georgia (left) and Emily (right).
I also took some pics of other runners that looked funky! On the left we see Tori's uncle - I didn't take the picture because he's her uncle (hey, I had no idea at the time!) but because I liked his costume. In the middle we have some lottery number balls (at least I think this is what they're supposed to be), and on the right one of several guys running in rhino costumes (apparently weighing around 15 kg!). Some people, huh?
